Garry Brown - Portfolio Manager

Garry is focused on the management of the loan portfolio.

He spent 20 years at a leading High Street Bank, becoming a Senior Business Manager. A burning desire to avoid the fate of his peers ‘going grey in the corner’, a brush with a Buddhist retreat, and belief there’s more to life led him to the Key Fund in 2009. The Buddhist retreat was a client of the banks that he helped overcome hurdles and turn into a successful business model – it was a client that made him realise investing didn’t just have to be about profit.

Growing up in the punk era and still a fervent fan of gigs, his motto is inspired by Sahar Hashemi, founder of Coffee Republic: “Leap and the net will appear!”
