The funding application form normally takes 1-2 hours to complete. You’ll also need to submit supporting documents such as a business plan and a cash flow forecast; our helpful pre-investment checklist will guide you through. You can also download templates for the related forms on our website.
After we have reviewed your application and documents, we will assign you an Investment Manager. They will contact you to talk through your application and ask for any further information needed, they may also arrange to visit you to discuss your requirements.
The Investment Manager will then take your application to our Investment Panel made up of Board members and independent members from the finance, social economy, charity and voluntary sector. Our Investment Panel meets every month.
A decision will be made at the Panel on whether to award your organisation with the investment you have applied for.
If you are successful, you will be sent offer letters to review and sign. We will set up a direct debit with the bank for payment and talk to you about next steps.
