Dave Thornett sadly passed away peacefully after a 15 month battle with pancreatic cancer.

Dave was a hugely respected figure in social investment, and across the VCSE sector more widely. His gentle and kind manner, keen and insightful mind and dry sense of humour set Dave apart; and he always had an obscure fact, place name or song lyric for every occasion.

Over 20 plus years he contributed hugely to the development and growth of Key Fund, and he will be profoundly missed by all of us, leaving a huge hole in the organisation. He really was the very, very best of us.
